Background
Many of local brand lose business opportunities because they thought the delivery cost is too expensive or they don't know how to keep freshness for long hours.

Pieces of ice, which are the main cooler of fish delivery, may reduce delivery cost, however, pieces of ice tend to resolve in a short time, or may damage taste/flavor due to penetration of resolved water inside the fish.

As for Farm products, temp range differes from frozen to ambient. In addition, some of the products to be kept ambient temp for a while even though they should be kept frozen/chilled during delivery.

Proposal
Our proposal is to introduce PCM & container which enable to keep appopriate temp to address the above issues. We have a lot of line-ups of PCM from frozen to ambient keeping long hours. We are pleased to propose solutions to establish national Brand from local products.

 

Case Introduction: Local brand to be National Brand

A fishers' cooperative in Hokkaido dilivered squids using pieces of ice. But melted ice damaged the appearance of squids, so they need high cost to deliver squids to keep freshness using well or injecting special materials for example. Toppan Forms has solutions for that, MechaCool -5℃ and specially developed case with partition are suitable for the delivery. It avoids contact of each squid keeping freshness for long hours. They have expanded business volume and channels.
