Message to Stakeholders

Appreciate 50- year Support and Hope for Another 50 Years

President

Shu Sakurai

Toppan Forms celebrated its 50th anniversary in June last year. We greatly appreciate the warm support of our stakeholders.

Toppan Forms was founded in 1965 as a venture company mainly for manufacturing and marketing business forms. At that time, only a few companies had introduced computers within their operations, and the term “business form” was not common. As computers become more widespread throughout society, we focused on business forms and expanded our service into data print service (DPS), in which we receive and print out the important information of our customers, and into business process outsourcing (BPO), in which we handle a range of data-related operations for customers. As a pioneer of innovation in clerical jobs, we have always expanded into new business lines. We are also a company that handles the important information of customers, and thus view personal information protection and information security to be two of our most important challenges. To tackle these challenges, we have made efforts to establish a top-level information security system.

In the more than 50 years the company has existed, we have always kept in mind the “San-eki Ichijo - Tria Juncta in uno - Contributions” creed that was laid out at the time the company was founded. We have not only pursued our own benefits, but those of society, corporations, and individuals. At the same time, we have earned the trust and high level of regard from many stakeholders. In the fiscal year ended March 2016, we recorded an increase in revenue and profit for the fifth consecutive year. Externally, Toppan Forms was chosen as a “Nadeshiko Brand“ for the third year running, and as a “Competitive IT Strategy Company “ for the second year in a row by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Tokyo Stock Exchange. In 2016, we were also recognized as a “Health and Productivity” We believe these results are a testament to the outstanding recognition we have earned for our efforts and fair attitude, including our commitment to the active disclosure of information. Today, corporations are expected to undertake a number of initiatives. Environmental management, compliance, corporate governance, and business continuity plans all represent important facets of the social responsibility of corporations. Moving forward, we will continue to approach everything we do with sincerity and dedication.

Aiming to be a “Good Company”

The “Good Company” we aim to be is a company that makes its presence felt in society, is trusted by society, and emphasizes identifying with stakeholders. Following the “San-eki Ichijo - Tria Juncta in uno - Contributions” creed that has existed since we were founded, we aim to be a company that makes its presence felt in society, contributing in a wide number of areas through our company’s businesses. We also respect the diversity of our employees by providing a work environment in which each of them can be happy. As we head into the future, we will continue working to become a vigorous, powerful company with a high level of profitability that is a pioneer in the market.

We humbly ask for the understanding of all our stakeholders in regards to our company’s CSR activities, and encourage you to continue your honest and open discussion with us.
