DigitalHybrid Company TOPPAN FORMS CO., LTD. (“TOPPAN FORMS,” hereafter) is pleased to announce that on March 23, it was jointly selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Tokyo Stock Exchange as a Nadeshiko Brand Company, which recognizes enterprises making distinguished efforts to promote female advancement. This marks the fourth consecutive year TOPPAN FORMS has been selected under the brand.

About Nadeshiko Brand Program (Excerpt from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Press Release)

The Nadeshiko Brand Program aims to introduce publicly listed companies excelling in the promotion of female advancement to investors who place importance on medium-to-long-term improvements in corporate value, thereby encouraging investment in these companies and accelerating similar efforts on the part of all companies.
Evaluations were conducted on nearly all 3,500 companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange from the perspectives of female career development and support for female public and private lives. Nadeshiko Brand Company selection was carried out by evaluating initiatives for promoting female advancement, resulting in the selection of 47 companies.

TOPPAN FORMS has positioned the Development of a Fulfilling Workplace as one of the key pillars of its management strategy. TOPPAN FORMS promotes Diversity & Integration and has worked to develop an environment in which diverse value is created based on a wide range of viewpoints and specialties to realize a work-life balance by self-government between labor and management
TOPPAN FORMS will increase its responsiveness as an organization by making use of its diverse human resources with a wide range of strengths with the aim of maximizing total performance for sustainable growth. TOPPAN FORMS will continue to work to develop a fulfilling workplace by promoting diversity management and health-oriented management as well as promoting measures to facilitate more male employees taking child-rearing leave.

Specific Measures

  • 1. The Implementation and Expansion of the Female Manager Development Program
    Through its Female Manager Development Program, TOPPAN FORMS conducted training for facilitating female employees to develop their ability as managers with a focus on female chiefs. In addition, TOPPAN FORMS also conducted follow-up training for establishing the positions of female managers after their promotions to managerial positions and increasing the number of women who aspire to be division heads and executives in the future.
    In addition, based on the recognition that understanding and proper guidance from superiors are essential to the successful performance of female employees as managers, TOPPAN FORMS also conducted a Development Program for Superiors of participants in the Female Manager Development Program. This program is intended to raise awareness among bosses and help them improve their ability to instruct and develop subordinates.

  • 2. The Implementation of Measures with a Focus on Integrating Diversity Management and Health-Oriented Management
    TOPPAN FORMS promotes Diversity & Integration and has worked to develop foundations for facilitating a wide range of human resources to continue to work enthusiastically. In addition, TOPPAN FORMS also promotes work style reforms and the maintenance and advancement of health by actively carrying out health-oriented management based on the idea that a wide range of human resources can perform well only if every single employee can stay healthy.
