Toppan Forms and Shanon Co-develop Cloud Based B2B Event Visitor Management System That Enables Short Installation Lead Time and Low Cost System With Centrally Managed Information Allowing Daily Customer Management

Information Management Solution Provider Toppan Forms Co., Ltd. (Toppan Forms hereunder) and Shanon, Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo, Representative Director: Kenichi Nakamura, Shanon hereunder) co-developed a B2B cloud based event visitor management system "EVENTISSIMO CLOUD" and will start marketing it in November, 2013.

Background and Objective

Toppan Forms has been providing on-premise event visitor management system for some time. Recently, companies using cloud based system is becoming popular leading to strong demand to combine customer management and event visitor management system in a cloud based manner. The "EVENTISSIMO CLOUD" uses Shanon's "Marketing Platform" as the base. Its unique features such as online registration are co-developed based on the customer's request and experience of the conventional system. While the system is cloud based, registration can be conducted even when it is not connected to the network, allowing reliable event operation. Furthermore, since event planning and preparation, event operation, follow-up, and result verification can be managed centrally, it lightens a heavy operation burden of the event organizer in preparing invitation list and allows CRM to use the most updated data from each event. Toppan Forms will continue to provide the conventional on-premise system for those companies that cannot use cloud due to their security policy.

Features

  • 1. By using the system continuously, PDCA cycle of CRM, covering event planning, operation, and verification are achieved.
  • 2. Customer information such as event visit record, email delivery record, sales activity record necessary for marketing can be managed centrally so that it can be used as a main system for customer management.
  • 3. While the system is cloud based, the unique feature allows registration even when it is not connected to the network allowing reliable event operation without disruption is made possible.
  • 4. Short lead time and low cost installation are possible. For example, if 5,000 guests are to be invited and the system is used for three months, the lead time would be 14 days and the cost to use the system could start from 550, 000 yen excluding set-up and customization.
  • 5. Toppan Forms can provide one stop outsourcing service such as production and mailing of invitation letters and digitization of business cards.

Sales Target

50 companies, 300 million yen by October 2016

Future Roadmap

Toppan Forms will add a feature that allows order placement of their line of business, such as production and mailing direct mail, and data entry outsourcing of business card information, over the web. The company will also continue to partner with other cloud services.
