– Beginning to provide BPO services to SBI Securities Co., Ltd., a major internet securities company –

DigitalHybrid Company TOPPAN FORMS CO., LTD. (TOPPAN FORMS, hereunder) has been registered as an operational management institution of individual-type defined contribution pension plans (registration number: 781). The company will begin to provide financial institutions with BPO services related to customer communications -- that is, BPO services for accepting documents from customers and carrying out other clerical work and responding to inquiries.
TOPPAN FORMS will reduce the workload for financial institutions by providing outsourcing services for operating processes, ranging from promotion to new participants in the pension plan to clerical operations including the acceptance of applications for participation, responses to inquiries made after the start of management, and procedures for changes.
TOPPAN FORMS has begun to provide part of its BPO services, including acceptance processing, to SBI Securities Co., Ltd. (SBI Securities, hereunder), the largest internet securities company. To provide services that are appropriate for customers in light of the fiduciary duty of SBI Securities, TOPPAN FORMS will continue to improve the quality, cost and delivery (QCD) of acceptance processing, and at the same time, make proposals for ensuring meticulous customer services, such as optimizing the design of communication tools for customers.

Processes generated following new participation in iDeCo and the scope of the BPO services

Background

As a result of the amendment of the Defined Contribution Pension Act in January 2017, the range of those eligible for individual-type defined contribution pension plans (iDeCo) has increased. This has led to growing demand for outsourcing services among financial institutions, which have to prepare for the increase in the number of customers who participate in such pension plans. In response, TOPPAN FORMS has established a system for providing outsourcing services related to iDeCo by taking measures such as registering itself as an operational management institution of individual-type defined contribution pension plans (registration number: 781) to respond to the growing needs. In addition, the company has established a system for operating these services at the Hino Center, which has a high level of security and an extensive track record of BPO services for processes involving troublesome clerical work, such as work related to the Social Security and Tax Number and the provision of funds for educational expenses as gifts. This has enabled TOPPAN FORMS to provide safe, secure, high-quality services.

Future Development

By providing this service, TOPPAN FORMS will contribute to promoting the spread of individual-type defined contribution pension plans (iDeCo). It will also provide a range of solutions that cater to the needs of financial institutions.
TOPPAN FORMS aims to have the BPO service for iDeCo introduced in five companies in FY2017.
